Santina Muha

A woman with brown hair and a purple shirt sits in a wheelchair with a blurred tree in the background.

My disability is typically apparent, except when over video chat. Throughout the years I've struggled with how much of my identity is colored by my disability, wishing I could choose when to disclose it at times. After conducting an experiment dealing with this, I learned there truly are people in the world who can't see me as anything but disabled once they learn I use a wheelchair, but luckily that doesn't seem to be the case for everyone.
