I am a diploma graduate in Public Relations from the University of Nairobi and a continuing student pursuing a degree in Journalism and Media Studies. Last year, I completed my internship with the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation in the Corporate Affairs department. I am a great believer in servant leadership, curiosity, and accountability. These are some of the values I uphold in my day to day life and are shaping my destiny. I have enormous and efficient communication skills and fluent language abilities. I am also attentive to detail which is an important quality for a journalist. My engagement in the co-curricular activities has equally built my competence to a great level. Besides sports, I have worked at the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) as a television presenter of the Abled Differently program for three years now. Attending various Public Relations and media based workshops has also played a huge part in preparing me for my future career aspirations. Additionally, I am an alumnus of the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange program in the United States. Through the exchange program, I have been able to interact with people from diverse backgrounds while impacting the society through works of charity. All my achievements have been made possible through my interpersonal skills to relate amicably with people around me. Being a disability rights advocate, I have also run a campaign dubbed “Accessible Kenya Campaign” that seeks to advocate for the accessibility rights of persons with physical disabilities. I am excited to work with you as part of the Social media team.
